At Caprice Paper Products, our goal is ensure all our products are fit for purpose – that they’ll perform as expected no matter the challenges or conditions.
We like to live out our goals in both business and in pleasure, and many of our team members make fitness their personal challenge or purpose, in their spare time.
Three of our key senior staff recently took on the challenge of the Great Ocean Road Marathon in May, both half marathon and full distance. It was a fantastic weekend, with all three completing their distances and having fun in the process.
Technical Advisor (Projects), Nicola Tocchini ran the full 44km from Lorne to Apollo Bay, completing the arduous distance in 3.35.09 hours, finishing 50th overall. Taking on the half marathon from Kennett River to Apollo Bay, a distance of 23km, was Kate Irvine, our Executive Manager, successfully completing in 2.36.50 hours; while our Managing Director David Irvine completed the 14km Paradise Run in 1.40.42 hours.
Achieving our fitness and personal goals at the Great Ocean Road Marathon just goes to show anything is possible if you put your mind to it – no more paper thin excuses!
